Whipped Shortbread Cookies – Christmas & Happy New Year Party Snack Food Recipe

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and confectioners’ sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour and cornstarch, beating until well blended.
  2. Using a pastry bag fitted with a #1M star tip, or a cookie press, pipe cookies (about 1-1/2β€³ to 2β€³ diameter) on a parchment lined baking sheet. Top with nonpareils or cherry halves.
  3. Bake at 300Β° for 20-22 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Yield: 16-18 dozen.
